Climate Technology Bazar

Baalu was the architect of another international event the ‘Climate Technology Bazar’ organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in partnership with Government of India in New Delhi from 10-13 November 2003. The event was inaugurated by the then Deputy Prime Minister Thiru L.K. Advani. The Bazar showcased environmentally sound and climate friendly technologies from India and other developed countries in the fields of renewable energy, energy from waste, resource conservation and energy efficiency. The event concluded successfully and received appreciations from several countries including USA which was evident from technology transfer deals of worth US$ 320 million finalized during the event. Concurrently, a High Level Round Table on CDM and workshops on Development and Climate Change, Adaptation and Technology Transfer were organized in New Delhi during the same period. The Exhibition and Conferences offered excellent networking opportunities with the delegates of various countries for business development and expansion plans.
