Delhi Sustainable Summit

Baalu inaugurated the ‘Delhi Sustainable Development Summit’ organized by The Energy Research Institute (TERI) on 11th February 2002 at New Delhi. The Summit was attended, among others, by the Environment Ministers of the Netherlands, Finland, Israel, Kazakhstan, Denmark, Sri Lanka and New Zealand. Minister Baalu utilized the opportunity to discuss bilateral issues with his counterparts. On the eve of the Summit a document on "Integrated Energy Policy for India" was released by the Hon’ble Prime Minister.
