World Energy Conference

T.R. Baalu has earned a great name for organizing mega events for his DMK party in Chennai of the like of the grand function organized by him on the eve of launching of the National Front in 1988. He envisioned Oil Sector in India as the major Primary Energy Sector and to accomplish this dream, a World Energy Conference was organized in Goa in xxxx under his stewardship. Then Prime Minister I.K. Gujral inaugurated this Conference. Backed by a careful and meticulous planning and with more than 60 oil producing countries and captains of the Indian as well as International Oil Industry participating in this show, it proved to be a successful mega event of the year.
